Need that junk car gone TODAY? Like, actually today – not “we’ll call you back in 24-48 hours” today?
Yeah, we can do that.
Look, we get calls all the time from people in a bind. Maybe you just found out the car failed inspection and fixing it costs more than the thing’s worth. Maybe you’re moving tomorrow and that dead Honda in your driveway needs to disappear. Or maybe – and this happens more than you’d think – your landlord just gave you 24 hours to get that “eyesore” off the property before they start charging you.
Whatever the reason, sometimes you need same-day service. And most places cant deliver on that.
How Same-Day Pickup Actually Works
Here’s the thing – we’re not a giant national call center. We’re local. Our trucks are already on the road in Massachusetts pretty much every day. So when you call us at 9am and you’re in Worcester or Lowell or somewhere in between, there’s a real good chance we can get to you by afternoon.
The process is stupid simple:
- You call or fill out the form online – tell us year, make, model, condition
- We give you a quote on the spot (not a range, an actual number)
- If it works for you, we schedule pickup – same day if available
- We show up, you sign the title, we hand you cash
- We tow the car away for free
That’s it. No inspection appointments. No waiting for a check in the mail. No “let me see what my manager says.” Just done.
When Can You Get Same-Day Service?
Real talk: we can do same-day about 80% of the time, but it depends on a few things.
Best chances for same-day:
- You call before noon (earlier is better)
- You’re in the Greater Boston area or along the 495 corridor
- It’s a weekday (we run fewer trucks on weekends)
- You have the title ready to sign
Might need to wait until tomorrow:
- You call late afternoon
- You’re out in the Berkshires or Cape Cod
- You need to get a duplicate title first
- It’s a holiday weekend and everyone’s getting rid of cars apparently
Even when we cant do same-day, we can usually get there next morning. We know waiting around sucks.
Why We’re Faster Than the Big Guys
Ever try calling one of those national junk car companies? The ones with the catchy jingles and 1-800 numbers? Here’s what usually happens:
You call. You talk to someone in a call center who’s probably not even in Massachusetts. They take your info. They say “someone will call you back within 24-48 hours with a quote.” Maybe they do, maybe they dont. Then IF you accept, they schedule pickup through a local contractor who they’ve never met. That contractor has their own schedule. The whole thing takes 3-5 days minimum.
We’re not that. We answer our own phones. We own our own trucks. We know the roads – can tell you exactly how long it takes to get from Quincy to Braintree during rush hour (too long) or the best route to avoid that rotary in Concord everyone hates.
That’s why we can actually deliver on same-day. Because we’re already here.
What Kind of Cars Do You Pick Up Same-Day?
Honestly, pretty much anything with a title.
- Cars that don’t run – we bring a flatbed
- Cars with mechanical problems – engine, transmission, whatever
- Accident damaged vehicles – as long as they’re not literally in pieces
- Old beaters with 200k+ miles
- Failed inspection vehicles
- Cars with body damage, rust, missing parts
The only time same-day gets tricky is if the car is in a weird location – like stuck in a parking garage with low clearance, or in a backyard with no driveway access. Those situations might take some extra coordination. But we figure it out.
Real Stories From People Who Needed Cars Gone Fast
“My landlord in Somerville literally threatened to have my car towed if it wasn’t gone by end of day. Called these guys at like 10am, they were there by 2:30 and I walked away with $875. Saved my butt honestly.” – Carlos M.
“Had to fly out for a family emergency adn my beater wouldn’t start. Couldn’t just leave it on the street. They came same day, handled everything, even took photos of where they picked it up so I’d have proof for parking. Above and beyond.” – Sarah K., Medford
“Needed the car gone before the new one got delivered. Dealer was coming at 3pm and my old Civic was blocking the driveway. These guys made it happen with like an hour to spare.” – Tom B., Framingham
Frequently Asked Questions
What time do I need to call to get same-day pickup?
Before noon gives you the best shot. Call at 8am and you’re basically guaranteed we can get there by end of day in most of Massachusetts. Call at 4pm? We’ll try but it might push to first thing tomorrow morning.
Is there an extra fee for same-day service?
Nope. Same price whether we pick up today or next week. We don’t do surge pricing or rush fees or any of that.
What if the car is completely dead and won’t even roll?
No problem at all. We have flatbed tow trucks that can winch cars out of driveways, parking spots, wherever. We’ve pulled cars out of garages, off lawns (mud season is fun), even out of a barn once. If we can physically get a truck to it, we can take it.
Do you pick up on weekends?
We do limited Saturday pickups, usually in the morning. Sundays are hit or miss – sometimes we can swing it, sometimes not. If you need weekend service, call Friday and we’ll figure something out.
Coverage Area for Same-Day Service
We can typically do same-day pickup anywhere within about 45 minutes of Boston. That includes most of eastern Massachusetts – from the NH border down to the South Shore, out to Worcester, and everywhere in between.
Further out – Springfield, the Cape, the Berkshires – we can still help but same-day is less likely. Usually next-day for those areas.
